Call for Nominations is now out in the following categories:

1. Man of the Year, 2022.

This recognition is open for individuals whose actions have greatly impacted the Nation positively in the year under review and have helped in shaping their immediate society making, significant contributions in the growth and development of the state and who continues to inspire nationally in altruism, uniting Nigerians and speaking truth to power.

2. Governor of the Year.

This recognition is open for Governors in Nigeria who, through their leadership styles, have convincingly impacted on the lives and wellbeing of Citizens of their States, especially in delivering dividends of democracy, respect for rule of law, responsive leadership and policies that have translated into infrastructural developments that have direct bearing on the well meaning citizens of Nigeria and does not owe the salaries of workers in his State.

3, Governor of the Year

Education/Infrastructure.
This recognition is open for Governors in Nigeria whose leadership has convincingly impacted the lives and wellbeing of the people of his State especially in the aspects of quality education and critical infrastructure in the year under review.He must not also owe the salaries of workers.

4, Governor of the Year

 Welfare/Rural Development
This recognition is open for Governors in Nigeria whose leadership has convincingly impacted the lives and wellbeing of his citizens, paying keen attention to their Welfare while prioritizing Rural Development in the Year under review.He must not also owe the salaries of workers.

5, Governor of the Year

 Security/Youth Empowerment.
This is in recognition for Governors whose policies and programmes have reflected sterling records in the aspects of security and youth empowerment in the year under review.He must not also owe the salaries of Civil servants.

6. Senator of the Year.

This recognition is open for Senators whose activities in the hallowed chamber have impacted their constituency positively in the aspect of performing statutory functions, constituency projects, youth empowerment and employment opportunity etc, in the year under review.He should also have a functional constituency office in every LGA covered by his constituency .

7. State First Lady of the Year.

This recognition is open for State First Ladies who have used their position and platform to pioneer and champion the cause of the welfare of Women, Youth and Children. And whose activities have engendered women inclusiveness in Politics and Development in the year under review.

8. Lifetime Achievement Award.

This recognition is open for extra ordinary individuals whose actions and selfless services have greatly impacted their immediate communities and Nigeria at large during their decade long service.He should have a track record of integrity, hardwork and outstanding public life.

9. Minister of the Year.

This recognition is open for Ministers whose activities have translated into strengthening the organizational structure of the Ministry they supervise, the performance of the Agencies and Parastatals under their purview. Evidence of transparency, probity, reforms, delegation of responsibility and accountability.

10. Political Personality of the Year.

This recognition is open for individuals who have immensely contributed to deepening democracy and democratic values in the nation.He must be an individual who has produced a realistic socio economic development model with which to deploy in solving the Nigerian problems of security, poverty, unemployment etc.

11. Public Servant of the Year.

This recognition is open for exceptional public servants with sterling records in the public service sector in the year under review.He must possess the quality of dedication to duty, incorruptibility, creativity and strict observance to the civil service rules.

12. Excellence in Leadership Award.

This recognition is open for individuals who have defied the odds, risen above the parochial system in the nation and influenced people to aspire for Excellence in various fields.He could either come from the private or public sector.Leadership in mentorship, transparency, influence, vision management and growing institutions.

13. Icon of Women Empowerment Award.

This recognition is open for women of substance whose actions have greatly impacted the womanhood positively and further women inclusiveness in Politics and governance in the year under review, shaping her immediate society through advocacy, empowerment programmes and deployment of resources to address women issues.

14. Federal Representative Member of the Year.

This recognition is open for Rep. Members whose actions have greatly impacted their constituency positively in constituency projects, Bills, Youth Empowerment and Job Opportunities etc, in the year under review.Must have functional constituency offices across his area of coverage and is always in touch with his people.

15. Peace & Security Personality of the Year.

This recognition is open for vibrant individuals whose actions have greatly promooted peaceful coexistence in their immediate community and Nigeria at large in the year under review.Or officers and men of the security forces whose conduct in the line of duty have been heroic.

16. State Assembly Speaker of the Year.

This recognition is open for the Speaker in the State House of Assembly that has exhibited inclusive, sterling and exemplary leadership style that have translated into peaceful legislative processes, good rapport with executive arm, true representation and ease of passage of bills in the year under review.

17. State Legislator of the Year.

This recognition is open for members of States’ House of Assembly whose actions have greatly impacted their constituency positively in constituency projects, Bills passage and Youth Empowerment in the year under review. He must be seen to have a constituency office.

18. Businessman of the Year.

This recognition is open for Nigerians who through hard work and so much efforts have been able to build and sustain a business, providing satisfactory services and creating employment.

19. Local Government Chairman of the Year.

This recognition is open for council Chairmen whose actions have greatly impacted the grassroots positively in the year under review. Activities ranging from Infrastructural development, poverty alleviation, security, empowerment, youth engagements etc.He must be seen to be resident in the Local Government Headquarters and promotes real democracy at the grassroot between the organs of government.

20. Sports Development Personality of the Year.

This recognition is open for sports enthusiasts, philanthropists or unsung heroes who have contributed immeasurably to the Country’s sport development by building viable platforms and championing ardent advocacy that creates ample opportunities for young talents to be discovered and developed.

21. Youth Personality of the Year.

This recognition is open for vibrant and influential individual whose actions have greatly resulted to the development of Nigerian Youths positively in the year under review.An exemplary young person who has distinguished himself in his career through hardwork, endurance and support for younger people.

22. Humanitarian Service Award.

This recognition is open for organizations and individuals with sterling records who have given enormously to support charitable organisations, scholarships, social welfare, social justice and promote societal values.

23. Entrepreneur of the Year.

This recognition is open for individuals whose actions have greatly expanded their business empire to affect their immediate society positively in the year under review.

24. Journalist of the Year.

This recognition is open for individuals who are masters in journalism practices and also making great impact in the sector in the year under review.Qualities such as the observance of the ethics of the profession, advocacy journalism and book publishing to deepen the profession are key.

25. ICT Personality of the Year.

This recognition is open for individuals who have mastered the art of information Technology and are making great impact on the use of Information Technology in the year under review.Indices for voting are the person’s exploits in software development, cyber security and the development of ICT resources in providing solutions to problems.

26. Artiste of the Year.

This recognition is open for individuals who are masters in Theatre Arts and are making great societal impact in practice, research and community development to advance its evolution.

27. Human Capital Development Award.

This recognition is open for exceptional individuals or corporate entities who have greatly supported positively the human capacity development in the business community in the year under review.Disbursement of start up capitals for small scale businesses, advocating for policies that can remove barriers to ease of doing business etc.

 28. Film Maker of the Year.

This category is open for film makers who are masters in Theatre arts or thespians and have also made great impacts in the film sector in the year under review.The quality of movies produced and its role in nation building.

29. Industrialist Personality of the Year.

This award recognizes individuals whose visions and innovations have become drivers leading to growth in particular industrial sectors and have permanently impacted the way of doing business in the sector, especially in the year under review.The capacity to set up new companies, staff strength and user friendly work environment.

30. Philanthropist of the Year.

This recognition is open for an individual who has given generously to support charitable causes, social welfarist engagements, and social justice in order to promote social balance in the society.

31. Young Business Leader of the Year.

This award recognizes young business leaders, who are 40 years of age or below, whose outstanding business successes and verifiable business journey have made them role models and inspirational success story in the business market.He or she must show an evidence of mentoring others.

32. Media Personality of the Year.

This recognition is open for individuals whose patriotic efforts in the society have attracted the attention of the media platforms in the year under review.Availability to honour media invitations, support media freedoms at all times and makes positive contributions for national development on his media handles .

33. Brand of the Year.

This award recognizes companies whose profits have been effectively channeled to impacting their communities through their corporate social responsibility contributions to the arts, education, environment, and community development, making societal impact a corporate priority.

34. CEO of the Year.

This Award recognizes top CEOs who by dint of hard work, business savviness and outstanding managerial skills are building strong brands, creating jobs and shared prosperity for stakeholders and communities.

35. Best Radio Station of the Year.

This recognition is open for community radio stations for their contribution towards grassroot development through effective information dissemination.Balancing the drive for revenue generation and paying attention to human angle stories. Quality programmes and balanced news presentations

36. Online News Blog of the Year.

This recognition is open for online media platforms with large followership and zeal for effective information dissemination.

37. TV Station of the Year.

This recognition seeks to award a TV Station that has made invaluable contributions in deepening Nigeria’s broadcasting industry, and has, amidst tight competition, been able to sail well in the aspects of professionalism, Accuracy in News dissemination/Programming delivery, Innovations and customer-centricity.

38. Creativity & Innovation Award.

This category is open for individuals and organizations who have invented a project which has greatly impacted the society in the year under review.

39. Fashion House of the Year.

This recognition is open for organizations who are masters in fashion designing and are also making great impact in the sector in the year under review.Who pay their tax regularly and have reproduced themselves all over.

40, Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

This recognition is open for Young Nigerian Entrepreneurs whose businesses have thrived well in the year under review and have become source of employment to the teeming youths and have engaged in several empowerment programmes.

41, Icon of Peace & Diplomacy.

This recognition is open for vibrant individuals whose actions have greatly resulted to peaceful coexistence in their immediate society and Nigeria at large in the year under review.Work for peace in their homes, community and society at large.

42. Academic Achievement Award of the Year 2022.

This recognition is open for academics/scholars who have contributed to the body of knowledge in the year under review.A PhD who has distinguished himself/herself in teaching, research, mentorship and community service both locally and internationally.

43. Educational Institution of the Year, 2022.

This recognition is open for both public and private Universities who have been consistent in impacting quality education for national development through the use of a dynamic curriculum that marries theory and practice.Employment of technology in teaching and learning and the quality of teachers and research facilities.
